[www.inewsguyana.com] – Nathan Saul dropped 20 points to lead the Trinity Grid Holdings (TGH) Pacesetters to a 64-54 win over the Pepsi Sonics when the Georgetown Amateur Basketball Association (GABA) “King of the hard court” tournament continued with two under-23 games on Wednesday.
Jaleel Duke supported with 19 points in the win while Quincy Wright was the top scorer for the Sonics with 16 points. Paul Schultz and Drexel Amsterdam had 13 points each.
In the opening matchup of the evening of under-23 action, Ravens defeated Plaisance Guardians 67-58.
Murtland Ward led all scorers with 20 points in the win while the next best scorer for Ravens was Sebastian Luke with 18 points.
Contributing 14 and 10 points in the win was Carlos Edward and Treston Burnette respectively.
Nduka Horatio led the Guardians with 19 points while Malcolm Ponder and Kelvin Yorrick scored 12 and 10 respectively.
