Guyana has seen 1186 new cases of the novel coronavirus being detected within 24-hours, taking the overall positives recorded to date to 48,191.
There are 13 persons in the ICU, 121 in institutional isolation, 8413 in home isolation, and eight in institutional quarantine.
The death toll remains at 1075 while the recoveries stand at 38,569.
