[www.inewsguyana.com] – A man who is presently before the courts for the unlawful possession of a firearm is once again in custody after being caught with another unlicensed weapon and matching ammunition.
According to a police report, at about 00: 40 hrs on Saturday December 19, 2015, ranks of a police patrol under ‘Operation Dragnet’ searched a man at Princes Street, Georgetown, in whose possession was found an unlicensed .32 revolver and 19 matching rounds.
He is in police custody and charges will be made shortly. According to the police, the suspect was previously charged with unlawful possession of another firearm during June 2015.
