[www.inewsguyana.com] – Royston Scipio was fined $15,000 along with one year imprisonment for the possession of an instrument, which he used to smoke cocaine.
He appeared before Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry and pleaded guilty to the offence, which stated that on May 22 at Bagotstown, Greater Georgetown, he had in possession one metal pipe used to smoke cocaine.
According to the Prosecution, Scipio was seen acting in a suspicious manner and with permission, a search was carried out on his person when the instrument was found.
