…organisers hoping to use performances to spread awareness on mental health issues, substance abuse
Fans of the popular comedy revue “Nothing to Laugh About 10” will surely be excited to know that the organisers of the show have agreed to have a held-over of the stage production on July 1 2017 at Tower Suites in Georgetown.
The show which aims at providing the public with “their dose of laughter” will be directed by Kojo McPherson and Maria Benschop and includes an “all-star cast” of Michael Ignatius, Lyndon “Jumbie” Jones, Kirwyn Mars, Leza ‘Radika’ Singh, Clemencio Goddette, Chris Gopaul, Mark ‘Chine Man’ Kazim, Leon Cummings, Johann David, Simone Persaud, Gerard Gilkes, Mark Luke-Edwards, Brian Goodman, Zoya Moore.
It was also disclosed that, as a bonus this year, Signature Productions has added to the line-up, a phenomenal actress; Marissa Morgan who promises to fully entertain fans. Morgan is also one of the hosts of the television broadcast “Guyana Today” and has acted in a number of local plays.
Organisers of the comedy show disclosed that as usual, the programme will straddle all the divides; be it politics, race or religion.
Meanwhile, in keeping with their passion to spread more awareness on mental health issues and substance abuse, cast members hope to educate their fans on the topics and raise awareness on the issues faced by those affected, through their performances.
Tickets cost $3000 and are available for sale at Tower Suites, Giftland Mall, and Nigel’s Supermarket. Persons can also contact Kirwyn Mars, popularly known as “Sir Mars” for tickets as well.
The show will commence at 21:00hrs and patrons are advised to be prompt.
