Clayson Clementson, 47, of North Ruimveldt, Georgetown was earlier today remanded to prison on a charge of attempted murder.
Clementson who is a mini-bus driver was not required to plead to the indictable charge which stated that on October 31, 2016, at Lodge Georgetown, he unlawfully and maliciously wounded Andrea Phillips with intent to murder her.
The virtual complainant, Phillips was not present in court since, according to the prosecution, she is still in a critical condition at a medical facility in the city.
Cheif Magistrate, Ann McLennan transferred the case to Magistrate Judy Latchman in Court Three.
Clementson is expected to return to court on November 22, 2016. (Ramona Luthi)
