A new Pharmacy and Baby store was opened today in Barr Street, Kitty. The two establishments were commissioned by Former Minister of Health Dr. Leslie Ramsammy.
The Pharmacy has prescription and over the counter drugs. They are opened from Mondays to Sundays on a 24 hour basis. During the commissioning today, a blood drive and pressure testing were done for persons visiting the pharmacy.
Owner of Smart Aid Pharmacy Rajiv Singh said the facility has been in the making for some time now. Singh noted that persons can come and get medications, beauty products and cell phones.
Former Minister of Health Dr. Leslie Ramsammy said it is a starting point for someone who worked with him for many years.
Dr. Ramsammy noted that Singh has taken the experience over the years to make his establishment a realization. He told Singh that Guyanese deserve a high quality of service when it comes to health. [Nickhail Jaundoo]
