[www.inewsguyana.com] – The National Ruggers had a tough outing in their three round games at the Hong Kong seven series held over the last two day.
Playing against Zimbabwe, Guyana fell to an embarrassing 36-0 loss before losing to Spain 50-5. Patrick King was the scorer for Guyana with their only try in two games.
In their final game against Tonga, Guyana had a bit more success with their game plan but eventually lost the game 36-24.
The ruggers are expected back during the new week where preparation for the Olympic qualifiers and the Pan American Games will kick in.
