Following a week of voting on the question: Given the current state of politics in Guyana, do you think National Elections will be held in 2014?; 67% voted yes, 28% voted no and five percent were undecided.
Government and the Political opposition have been stuck in a deadlock in Parliament, given the fact that the opposition has a one seat majority. As a result, there have been talks about calling snap elections to break the parliamentary impasse.
