[www.inewsguyana.com] – It has been more than a month since well known biker Kirk Davis was brutally gunned down in front of his Eccles, East Bank Demerara home.
However, to date investigators are yet to make any headway in capturing his alleged killer, Randy Jagdeo, who is believed to be hiding in Suriname. When questioned about the progress of the investigations, Crime Chief Seelall Persaud told reporters on Monday that the Police Force has been unable to capture Jagdeo in Suriname.
Jagdeo is said to have shot Davis 16 times on September 3 in front his Eccles, East Bank Demerara home. The 30 -year – old was reportedly shot by the businessman because he was allegedly having an affair with his wife.
On September 12, Police Commissioner Leroy Brumell told a news conference that Jagdeo was spotted in the neighbouring country and that efforts were afoot to have him arrested.
“We have contacted our Surinamese counterparts” he said, adding that “we sent copies of his pictures; we are expecting very shortly that he will be apprehended,” the Commissioner had said.
A wanted bulletin has since been issued for Jagdeo.
