[www.inewsguyana.com] – It has been approximately three months since Southland International launched its inaugural countrywide promotion branded MOUSSY ‘Colour Your Life’. Last Saturday, the company held a grand drawing ceremony in front of its Georgetown office on Brickdam.
The grand prize winning entry was spun in a large rotisserie filled with thousands of entries received from all parts of Guyana. The winner of $1M is Ms. Pere DeRoy of East Ruimveldt Georgetown. Ms. DeRoy was not present at the drawing ceremony but when notified that her entry won, she hurried down to claim her prize in jubilation.
With all smiles on her face, the post graduate student in International Studies of the University of Guyana praised the Company for having such a promotion and that her winnings came at a perfect time which will greatly assist her boarding expenses in pursuit of a two year scholarship in Canada which will void her of any student debts.
Chief Financial Officer Gavin Ramsoondar explained, “Colour Your Life(CYL) depicts an experience for consumers to refresh and enjoy the ‘new genre’ of malta in Guyana as opposed to the culture of dark malt beverages.”
Additionally, Chief Executive Officer Irzad Zamal in congratulating the lucky winners said, “Moussy and Southland International has coloured the lives of 37 lucky winners over the past three months with a number of drawings held across the country.”
Since the launch of the promotion in mid-March, the response from the public has been overwhelming, the CEO said.
“We are also pleased at Southland to have changed or enhanced the lives of our winners who have all been appreciative and encouraged by their prize winnings. Consumers can be sure to look out for more value-added promotions and even more quality products to the market.”
Only recently, the company launched its Blue Waters Cran plus.
“It is taking the market by storm because of its unique fusion of sodium free water cranberry, grape and lime. It has ginseng and Vitamins A&E properties in it and very low in calorie and sugar,” the CEO noted.
Zamal also gave much appreciation to those participating outlets. “We could not have done it without the support of our valued customers and consumers; it was the great team work that made the dream worked.”
