[www.inewsguyana.com] – Eulena Charles and her six month old baby girl whose decomposed remains were found inside their Lot 408 Section 3, Block Y Golden Grove East Bank Demerara home, died from Pneumonia and starvation, according to the results of the post mortem examination.
Crime Chief Wendel Blanhum confirmed that the PME was conducted on Wednesday, July 15, five days after the discovery was made. The mother died of pneumonia and the baby of starvation.
The badly decomposed remains of the two were removed from the house on Saturday last after residents found them on Friday night, July 10. According to reports, the mother and daughter were last seen on June 21, but they are not well known by persons in the area, since there was not much interaction upon moving into the apartment, which is owned by an overseas – based Guyanese.
The woman’s husband works in the interior.
this is heart breaking
My heart breaks to hear this? Are we still our brother”s keeper?
The woman kept to herself and she had recently moved into the apartment. Some folks don’t like to mix with their neighbours. May their souls rest in peace.
This is so tragic. Back in the day a neighbor would have gone to the home to lend assistance. Pray Guyanese are not imbibing from that American cup of “minding our own business”.
What happened to love your neighbor as your self Golden Grove
I share your thoughts, very SAD indeed,,,
so sad to hear..
Where are your neighbors Guyana?
This is such a sad – very sad case. Such a thing should NEVER happen in Guyana.
