[www.inewsguyana.com] – As the drug eradication exercise continues, the police have destroyed more marijuana fields in the community of Yarrowkabra, Soesdyke/Linden Highway on Wednesday September 18.
During the operation, nine fields of marijuana plants, comprising approximately 85,000 plants ranging in height between 3 feet and 10 feet, were found and destroyed along with seven nurseries with seedlings and three camps. No arrest was made.
On Monday last, the police destroyed ten acres of marijuana in the same community and two men were arrested.
