[www.inewsguyana.com] – Hospital Officials have confirmed that 44 – year – old Wendell Liverpool who was shot several times on Friday night died this morning at the Georgetown Public Hospital.
Liverpool, a popular money changer along America Street, Georgetown was in the area imbibing with others just around mid-night when he was attacked. He was rushed to the GPHC, after attempting to run and later collapsing, where he was admitted.
The perpetrator is reported to have calmly walked away from the scene following the shooting. He took with him some of the man’s cash and other valuables.
