A West Bank Demerara minibus conductor was killed earlier this evening (Monday) after the minibus in which he was in toppled.
Dead is Roger “Jerry” Waldron, 30, of Lot 57 Good Intent, West Bank Demerara.
The accident occurred at about 19:00hrs in the vicinity of the Gafoors Nismes Complex, WBD where mud was temporarily moved to the roadside to facilitate on-going drainage works.
Several passengers in the minibus were rushed to the West Demerara Regional hospital.
