Twenty-seven-year-old Sherwin Holmes of Lot 3678 North Ruimveldt, Georgetown admitted that on March 11 at Thomas Street, Georgetown, he unlawfully assaulted Roxanne Bell.
The unrepresented man also admitted that on the same day at Thomas Street, he made use of abusive language, where a breach of the peace may be occasioned.
Holmes apologized for his actions. He was fined $5,000 for the abusive language charge and $10,000 for the assault matter. He was ordered to pay the fine in one week or a default of one month imprisonment.
