[www.inewsguyana.com] – Police have received a report that miner, Mikel Huntley of New Amsterdam was doused with gasoline and set on fire on December 26. He succumbed to the injuries sustained.
A police report noted that a team of police ranks has been dispatched to Ikawan, Cuyuni River where the incident reportedly took place.
According to the police, Huntley was involved in an argument with another man during which he was doused with gasoline and set on fire.
