[www.inewsguyana.com] – A Miner was on Wednesday, December 02 placed on $120,000 bail for Break and Enter and larceny after he made his first appearance before Chief Magistrate Ann McLennan at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court.
Thirty-eight year old Ariane Dookie of 343 East Street, South Cummingsburg denied the allegation which read that between November 19 and November 20 at Georgetown, he broke and entered the shop of Loris Joseph and stole a quantity of clothing valued $1 million.
Prosecutor Deniro Jones stated that the articles were not recovered and related that there are outstanding statements. Jones made no objections to the accused being granted his pre-trial liberty and asked that substantial bail be granted. He was granted $120,000 bail and will return to court on January 4.
