[www.inewsguyana.com] – Investigations are being conducted into the death of miner Andre Britton, 50 years, of 111 Miles Mahdia, Potaro, which occurred at about 0130h. today Thursday January 01, 2015, at Mahdia.
Investigations have revealed that Andre Britton had earlier confronted a man, during which the man was assaulted, for throwing squibs into his yard and the man later returned and stabbed him about his body.
He was pronounced dead on arrival at the Mahdia hospital. The suspect has been arrested and is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
