A 27 – year – old miner was stabbed in his chest, and fell overboard, following an argument with another man. His body has not yet been recovered.
According to Police, at about 22:15h last night, Wednesday July 17, Glendon Parks of Santa Mission, Essequibo Coast, was involved in an argument with another man on a floating mining dredge at Kangaruma, Middle Mazaruni River, during which he was stabbed to his chest.
“Glendon Parks fell overboard and his body has not yet been recovered. The suspect has been arrested and is in police custody,” the Police said.
