[www.inewsguyana.com] – Forty – two – year old miner, Michael Morris lost his life after he was engaged in an altercation with other miners at West Park Backdam, Cuyuni on Monday, November 18.
According to the police, during the altercation, one of the miners allegedly dealt Morris a blow to his head with a piece of wood. Morris succumbed to the injuries he received and efforts are being made to have his body brought to Bartica. The suspect has not yet been arrested.
