[www.inewsguyana.com] – A mechanic, who is accused of stealing a motorcycle, was on Friday April 10, refused bail by Magistrate Judy Latchman on a charge of simple larceny.
Benjamin Smart, 21, denied that on March 20 at High Street Georgetown, he stole one motorcycle valued $440,000, property of Joseph Barns.
Bail was objected to, after Police Prosecutor Dinero Jones asserted that more charges are likely to be brought against the mechanic. He was remanded to prison and the matter was adjourned to April 16.
