(NY Daily News) Indian villagers were captured on camera feeding a venomous, 12 foot long King Cobra water straight from the bottle.
In the bizarre video, one man is seen holding the massive snake by its tail as other men crowd around. Another guy grabs a water bottle and holds it up to the snake’s mouth so it can drink.
The usually dangerous reptile calmly sips the water. Thankfully, the cobra was only thirsty and not hungry.
Cater News reported that the snake was rescued from a village in Kaiga township in Southern Indian, where it had apparently been in search of water. There’s been a severe drought in the area that’s been affecting the wildlife.
“So when the team of rescue workers found the cobra, the first thing they did was to offer it water,” the outlet wrote.
