[www.inewsguyana.com] – Two of Guyana’s biggest teams will meet on Sunday April 05, when the 25th edition of the Kashif and Shanghai Tournament culminates at the Guyana National Stadium, Providence.
At a press conference on Saturday April 04 at the 704 Sports Bar, Director of the K&S organization, Kashif Muhammad noted that the tournament has been a success thus far anticipates a thrilling finale between Alpha United and Slingerz FC.
“It is probably the biggest final we have had because of the financial support both teams receive,” Muhammad stated.
Coach of Alpha United, Wayne Dover said his team is focused and will be approaching the game “very seriously”.
Meanwhile Captain of Slingerz FC said his team’s objective is “to get the job done”.
The finals of the tournament will kick off from 21:00hrs while the third place playoff between Pele FC and Riddim Squad will start from 19:00h.
