berbice-police[www.inewsguyana.com] – Quincy Small was placed on $50,000 bail by Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry after being charged with unlawfully acquiring a police shirt.

The defendant, a mason of Roxanne Burnham Gardens, South Ruimveldt, Georgetown, pleaded not guilty to the charge which alleged that on January 20, at Roxanne Burnham Gardens he acquired one blue police regulation shirt, a military store, property of the Guyana Police Force (GPF).

Police Prosecutor Michael Grant neither presented facts to the court nor did he object to bail, thus it was granted. Small will appear in court again on January 30.
