An unemployed man who reportedly stole eight cart wheels found himself before Senior Magistrate, Fabayo Azore on Wednesday to answer for his transgressions.
Marcelous Marks, 44, denied that on September 12 2018 at Hadfield Street, Georgetown he stole the cart wheels valued $40,000., property of Stephanie Mascoll.
He was placed on bail in the sum of $20,000. However, he pleaded for self-bail stating that he is unable to pay same.
However, the Magistrate denied this request prompting the defendant to enter a guilty plea. The matter was then transferred to Magistrate Annette Singh who jailed Marks for one month.
