[www.inewsguyana.com] – A 25-year-old man was is now nursing a gunshot wound to his back after he was shot during an altercation in North West District on Tuesday June 16.
According to a police statement, at about 16:00hrs on Tuesday, Quincy Abrams, of Friendship, East Bank Demerara, was involved in an altercation at Wallabaca Backdam, North West District. During the altercation, Abrams was shot to his back.
Police say that the 25-year-old has been air-dashed to the city and is a patient at the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation.
Investigations are continuing and the suspect has not been arrested.
