[www.inewsguyana.com] – Patrick Boodie, of Levi Dam, Angoys’ Avenue, New Amsterdam Berbice was shot and killed on Wednesday April 15.
Police investigations have revealed that Boodie’s brother’s Calvin Charles, was involved in an argument with his neighbor over a grass fire that had spread from his (Charles’) land to the neighbor’s property.
According to the Police, Charles was chopped to his head and shoulder, while Boodie was shot several times about his body; he later succumbed to his injuries, while Charles is admitted to hospital.
Another man, Jason Nicholson, of Levi Dam and who was in the vicinity, was also shot and injured to his right hand and has also been admitted to hospital.
The two suspects have not been arrested as yet.
