[www.inewsguyana.com] – Labourer, Dellon McRae was remanded to prison when he appeared at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court for allegedly beating his mother.
McRae of Tucville Squatting area, Georgetown, pleaded not guilty to charges of unlawful assault and threatening behavior to Renatta. He denied that on November 17, at Tucville Squatting area, Georgetown, he unlawfully assaulted his mother and made use of threatening behaviour towards her.
Police Prosecutor Dinero Jones told the court that on the day in question, the two had an argument when he dealt his mother several cuffs to her face and pushed her into a wall.
The accused told the Court that his mother is lying as he noted that she is upset over a misunderstanding they had over him colouring his hair and having different girlfriends.
He was remanded until November 28.
