A man who claimed that he could not remember his age was on Wednesday jailed for 3 months after he denied but yet pleaded guilty to robbing and beating a young woman.
Quincy Andrews, of 17 Lambert Street pleaded guilty to robbing Madonna Prince of her cell phone, while beating her in the process on July 2 at Princes Street, Georgetown.
However, Andrews told the Court that he did not rob the woman, but pleaded guilty noting “I will lie on myself and say that I do it because I aint want to waste the Court time”.
As such, Magistrate Fabayo Azore jailed him for 3 months.
