A father hacked his two children to death this evening at Zeelugt Squatting area, East Bank Essequibo, while his wife is nursing injuries.
According to the police, at about 1800h. today Wednesday July 31, 2013, Bibi Nazarena Houston, 21 years, and her daughter Kimberley Houston, 5 years, and son Tarif Lord, 2 years, were chopped about their bodies by her reputed husband following an argument.
The two children were pronounced dead at the Leonora Cottage Hospital, while Bibi Houston has been admitted in a serious condition.
The suspect fled the scene and has not been arrested as yet.
Investigations are in progress.
