[www.inewsguyana.com] – The body of 31 – year – old Quincy Bowman of Cummings Lodge, East Coast Demerara was discovered on Monday, April 06 on a bridge in Festival City with a gunshot wound to the head.
iNews has been informed that the man, who once lived in French Guiana, was shot at approximately 04:30 hrs and according to a statement from the Police, the body was discovered sometime around 05:50hrs.
Police say the deceased is of mixed ethnicity and appears to be in his twenties. He is about 5’ 7” in height, brown complexion, and was clad in a ¾ white pants, burgundy hood top and a pair of white and blue Nike boots.
The body is at the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC) mortuary as the police investigations continue.
Persons in the area reported hearing two gun shots early this morning after which Bowman’s body was found on the bridge which links Festival City and Guyhock Park.
