A 23-year-old man of Bare Root, Bachelor’s Adventure, East Coast Demerara (ECD) was this morning found dead on the roadway, with two suspected stab wounds to his neck.
He has been identified as Keith Andrews, a father of one.
The young man was last seen alive yesterday afternoon by his mother.
The woman told this publication that her son left home at around 16:30hrs to go visit his child mother. She said he did not return home that evening, which was unusual. However, she could not contact him since he does not have a cellphone.
This morning, when she woke up to make meals for her other son to go to work, someone in the area arrived and told the family about the body on the roadway.
Upon checking, the family realised that it was Andrews.
Police are at the scene.
