[www.inewsguyana.com] – A construction worker of Lot 536 Parfait Harmony, West Bank Demerara was today placed on $150,000 bail on a fraudulent convergent charge.
Robert Frost made his appearance before Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry and pleaded not guilty to the charge.
Particulars of which alleged that on May 19 at Georgetown, being solely entrusted by Anson Weekes with the sum of $1.5 M to purchase a house lot, he fraudulently converted the money to his own use and benefit.
Police Prosecutor Michael Grant did not object to bail and the case was put off to October 3 for statements.
