A man, said to be of unsound mind, allegedly walked into a trench located along the Uitvlugt Sideline Dam on the West Coast of Demerara and drowned on Thursday morning.
Based on information received, the man has been identified only as Godfrey of Stewartville.
Police are currently at the scene, investigating.
