[www.inewsguyana.com] – Police say at about 23:00 hours last night (Thursday, July 31), 53 – year – old George Moore of Waterloo Street, Georgetown was driving a motor car along the access road at ‘C’ Field, Sophia, when he lost control of the vehicle and drove overboard into a canal.
He was subsequently taken to the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC), where he was pronounced dead on arrival (DOA).
Investigations are in progress.
