A West Ruimveldt, Georgetown man, who allegedly attacked and wounded a woman along with a man was on Monday morning answerable to the court for the offence.
Fifty-eight-year-old, Mark Khan appeared at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Courts and denied to Magistrate Judy Latchman that he wounded Deane Shawn and Faruk Mohammed on July 3, 2018 at West Ruimveldt.
The defendant, who is known to the two Virtual Complainant’s (VC’s), showed up at a place where the duo were staying and demanded that they open a door.
When Mohammed opened the door, he was allegedly dealt several cuffs by Khan. Shawn who went to the assistance of Mohammed was also allegedly dealt several cuffs to her face.
The two were treated for injuries received and Khan was picked up and later charged.
He was bailed in the sum of $160,000 to return to Court next on August 13.
