[www.inewsguyana.com] – After spending more than seven years on the run from law enforcement officials, Kendell Skeete was on Thursday, May 21 arrested for the murder of a Goed Fortuin man in 2008.
Twenty – seven- year – old Kenneth Allen, of Goed Fortuin Squatting Area, was stabbed to death by Skeete after he intervened in an argument attempting to play the role of a peacemaker.
He had sustained stab wounds to his shoulders and lower back and also suffered punctured lungs.
Police in a release on Friday said that Skeete “who had been charged and for whom an Arrest Warrant
had been issued by the court during 2008, was arrested by police ranks in Georgetown yesterday Thursday May 21, 2015, acting on information received from a member of the public.”
Police indicated that Skeete will be appearing at the Wales Magistrate Court in Monday May 25, where he will be formally arraigned.
