[www.inewsguyana.com] – Waynewright Courtney Telford, 51 who is accused of murdering Michael Kissoon, 37 on April 11, 2010 will know his fate Wednesday, after he accused the victim of constantly sodomising him at a drug yard in Angoy’s Avenue, Guyana.
He pleaded guilty to the lesser count of manslaughter. The sentence was deferred pending psychiatric and probation reports because of the abnormality of Telford’s mind.
Attorney – at – Law Renita Singh said the accused, the deceased and another would sleep under a shed at Denise Gomes’ residence. Telford told investigators the deceased would sodomise him while he was under the influence of narcotics and asleep. He would awaken with discomfort each time.
It happened again on the night in question and Telford overheard Kissoon telling another what he did. Telford got into a rage and chopped Kisson several times with a cutlass while he slept. He reported the matter to Police and was detained. (OG.NR.com)
