[www.inewsguyana.com] – Noel Steve was today sentenced to six months imprisonment after he pleaded guilty to a threatening behaviour charge before Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine – Beharry.
The 34 – year – old man was unrepresented. The Court heard that on October 31 at Upper Berbice River Arema, he behaved in a manner threatening to Tyron Alli.
On the day in question, the virtual complainant (VC) spoke to the defendant about an investigation in relation to murder and he became annoyed. As a result, he threw gasoline on the victim’s house and threatened to burn it, Police Prosecutor, Michael Grant said.
