A father of five children was on Monday remanded to prison when he appeared before Magistrate Judy Latchman to face three offences, that of discharging a loaded firearm, ammunition possession and wounding.
Marlon Dominic, 47, of West Ruimveldt, Georgetown denied that he used a hammer to hit his child mother, Samantha Ricky to her face on July 6, 2018 at West Ruimveldt.
He also denied that on the same day at the same location, he reportedly discharged several rounds at Huran Medowzi with intent to maim, disfigure, disable or to cause actual bodily harm to him.
Moreover, he denied having a 9mm spent shell in his possession which was reportedly found when ranks arrested him.
According to Dominic, he has been behind bars since Thursday last and could not have committed the acts.
