A Belmonte, Mahaica, East Coast Demerara (ECD) man was this morning found dead in a northern drain in his yard with multiple stab wounds about his body.
Police have since identified the dead man as 34-year-old vendor, Farcey Yassen. They are investigating the death as murder.
According to information from the police, the man’s body is presently at the Lyken’s Funeral Home awaiting a post mortem examination.
No arrests have been made at this time.
