[www.inewsguyana.com] – A 26 year-old old resident of Hansome Tree, Mahaica, Berbice is now dead after he was struck to his head by another resident of the village late Tuesday afternoon (February 03).
The dead man has been identified as Suresh Nandikishor and according to information reaching iNews, the incident stemmed from a land dispute between two families.
Nandikihor’s father and brother were also seriously injured during the incident and sustained chop wounds while trying to make peace.
They have been identified as Bohpaul Nandikishor (father) and Ravo Nandikishor (brother) who remain hospitalized at the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC).
They dead man and his family was reportedly attacked by three brothers, who are reportedly in police custody.
