Speeding along the Linden/ Soesdyke Highway has claimed yet another life, this time the life of a biker, who is alleged to have not been wearing a safety helmet when the accident occurred.
Reports are that around 14:55hrs yesterday, the biker who was said to be speeding lost control of his motorcycle and crashed.
He received a number of injuries about his body and was subsequently rushed to the Linden Hospital Complex where he was pronounced Dead On Arrival (DOA).
The dead man has been identified as 39-year-old Deoram Persaud of Belmont, Mahaica, East Coast Demerara (ECD).
Investigations into the fatal accident are currently under-way.
