[www.inewsguyana.com] – iNews has confirmed that Magistrate Geeta Chandan-Edmond has been fired by the Judicial Service Commission (JSC).
iNews understands that Magistrate Chandan-Edmond was hauled before the JSC, chaired by Chancellor Carl Singh on Thursday, February 19, where it was claimed that a Minutes Book went missing while she was on maternity leave.
Mrs Chandan-Edmond is expected to challenge the decision of the Commission. She was expected to sentence the son of Prime Minister Samuel Hinds sometime next week.
