A lone gunman earlier today executed a daring daylight robbery on an M&M Snackette located at Houston, Greater Georgetown thus carting off with an undisclosed sum of cash.
The robbery reportedly took place between 15:00h and 15:30h.
At the time, only one staff was at the food establishment. Based on reports received, the perpetrator who was wearing an orange hat and white t-shirt entered the building brandishing a pistol at the staff and demanded cash.
The woman fearful for her life quickly complied. After collecting the money, the suspect escaped on a pedal cycle. The police were subsequently summoned to the scene.
There, they had an opportunity to review the CCTV footage. Investigations are on-going.
