[www.inewsguyana.com] – An Excavator Operator of Lower Kara Kara, Soesdyke Linden was today ordered to post $100,000 bail by Magistrate Faith McGusty for inflicting grievous bodily harm on Christmas day.
Orielle Fiedtkou pleaded not guilty to the charge which alleged that on Wednesday, December 25 at Mckenzie Linden, he inflicted grievous bodily harm to Joseph Cornelius.
Attorney- at – law, Peter Hugh represented the defendant and told the Court that his client has been in custody for more than 72 hours.
Police prosecutor, Renetta Bentham did not object to bail but asked that Fiedtkou be placed on a bond to be on his good behaviour pending the outcome of the matter.
Bail was granted and the matter was adjourned until January 9, 2014.
