[www.inewsguyana.com] – Thirty – two – year old Stefarie Hopkinson Alexander also known as Anthony Williams of Wismar, Linden appeared before Chief Magistrate Ann McLennan to answer to several counts of armed robbery, one count of attempted murder and one count of murder.
It is alleged that the accused on April 20, 2015 at Lot 125 One Mile, Wismar, Linden murdered Shevon Gordon during or after the course of a robbery.
It is also alleged that on March 23, 2015 at Laing Avenue, Georgetown with intent to commit murder, he dislodged a loaded firearm towards to Curtis Thom.
He was not allowed to plead to these two indictable offenses.
It is also alleged that on November 4, 2015 at Mahaicony, East Coast Demerara, being armed with a gun, he robbed Yasodra Singh of one bag value $3,000, and $3,000 cash among other items.
It is also alleged that accused on that same day, at the same location, being armed with a gun, robbed Roopnarine Singh of one Samsung Galaxy Cellular phone value $ 110,000, and US$300, among other items.
Another charged alleged that on November 4, 2015 at Mahaicony, being armed with a gun, he robbed Natasha Bobb of her gold jewelry, and cellular phone among other items. On that same day, at the same location, he also robbed Lalranie Singh of her motor car, value $3.3M, among other items, while being armed with a gun.
He was not allowed to plead to any of the charges placed before him.
He was remanded to prison and is scheduled to make his next court appearance at the Mahaicony Magistrate’s Court on November 18.
As it relates to the murder of Shevon Gordon, he will make his court at the Linden Magistrate’s Court on November 25.
