[www.inewsguyana.com] – Police investigations have revealed that a punctured tyre caused the driver of the Linden minibus to lose control, which saw it toppled several times yesterday.
The accident has since left the driver, 29 year old Roger Hutson of Maraballi Street, Mackenzie, Linden dead along with his passenger, 36 – year – old Kathleen Marks of Ameila’s Ward, Linden.
“Investigations have revealed that mini-bus BSS 4774 was proceeding along the Kairuni Public Road when the vehicle suffered a puncture causing the driver to lose control of the vehicle which toppled several times, the Police said.
Hutson was pronounced dead on arrival at the Mackenzie Hospital, while Marks died while receiving medical attention.
Investigations are in progress.
