[www.inewsguyana.com] – Members of the Lesbian, Gay, Bi – Sexual and Transgender [LGBT] Community today turned out in their dozens to view the remains of Carl Sinclair also known as Tyra who was murdered along with his friend in separate parts of the city by the same assailant.
The police were called to restore order to Chapel Street, Georgetown where the body was being viewed by family and selected members of the gay community at Sandy’s Funeral Home.
The body was brought out from the storage area late and was first viewed by relatives of the young man before some others were allowed to view it followed by the barring of some persons due to time constraints.
Parlour officials told iNews that the decision to lock the door on the LGBT community came from persons within the gay community and not the family members.
For those who showed up late at the viewing, the streets were used as their conquest ground where they danced.
The site became one to behold as many turned out to see the well dressed and in some cases crossed dressed individuals. Many were heard questioning the whereabouts of Mario who recently came to fame with the nickedname ‘Thin Slice.’
The body was finally able to leave the funeral parlour and taken to the West Coast of Demerara where he will be furthered viewed and later laid to rest.
Sinclair and his friend, Jason John, known as ‘Jada’ were knifed to death on July 20 by jealous lover, Samuel Bristol, who eventually killed himself.
